Low Nest Farm
Converted from the old stables and milking parlours of Low Nest Farm, a traditional white washed Lake District farm sat atop Nest Brow, we offer a comfortable short stay whether it’s a weekend, mid week or even a month.
While accommodation has been offered at Low Nest for over 100 years. Alasdair, Heather, Freya and Sophie have only been here since 2019, taking over from the wider Pettendrup family who have farmed this land for hundreds of years. We live on site so you will no doubt see us pottering around, do feel free to say hi and ask us anything about the farm or the Lakes.

Helvellyn Hut

Inspired by huts that ahdorned the farm over 100 years ago, the Helvellyn Hut is the ultimate in chic rustic without compromise in comforts and the added flare of a log fire and a sunken deep tub. This is the ideal place to lavish a loved one for a special occasion, whether one exists or not.

Stybarrow
Sleeps 4 (space for 1 air bed)
The largest of our cottages, Stybarrow also has not only 2 separate bedrooms, but a bath for a relaxing holiday soak. Boasting a larger kitchen and living space, it is perfect for families and groups of friends wanting extra space.
Dollywaggon

One half of the old milking parlour, Dollywaggon is a perfect studio cottage for a couple and a dog or two.
White Side
Sleeps 2
The other half of the old milking parlour and a mirror image of Dollywaggon, White Side boasts a bed that can be split, perfect for friends and 2 people looking to share accommodation
Raise
Sleeps 2+2 (Sofa bed)
The old Byre, Raise is slightly larger than Dolly and White Side, with a sofa bed to accommodate two children. Like White Side, Raise has splitable beds to make a twin set up, perfect for two friends or a family.
